Sedgwick County Economic Development has the following Mission, Vision and Goals:

Encourage and stimulate all forms of economic and community development, commercial, private and industrial, which will be of direct or indirect benefit to Sedgwick County, Colorado.  Our guiding principles include:  providing information and services, engaging in activities that advertise, developing publications and audio-visual aids, establishing an affirmative policy, and helping increase diversification.

Sedgwick County has many of the necessary ingredients to make a business venture both prosperous and rewarding.  We are situated in an excellent position when it comes to transportation.  Sedgwick County has access to Interstate 80, Interstate 76, U.S. Highway 385 and to the Union Pacific Railroad.  The Julesburg municipal airport recently extended the runway to accomodate larger planes.  Please see specific pages for additional information about Sedgwick County……A Great Place to Grow!!
